Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records connected with the order of second respondent herein in R.C.No.C2/30125/2020 dated 18.12.2020 passed against the petitioner's husband, the detenu, namely Gnanavel S/o.Loganathan, aged about 22 years, who is confined at Central Prison, Cuddalore and set aside the same and consequently, direct the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the detenu before this Court and set him at

liberty forthwith.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.PONGIAPPAN, J] Petitioner is the wife of the detenu Gnanavel S/o.Loganathan, aged about 22 years, who has been branded as 'Boot Legger' under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in R.C.No.C2/30125/2020 dated 18.12.2020. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in R.C.No.C2/30125/2020 dated 18.12.2020 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.587, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 04.02.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
