Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's minor daughter Abinaya, D/o.Kotti, aged about 16 years before this Court and from the custody of the 3rd respondent.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.,] (1) The above petition has been filed by the petitioner / mother of the detenue Abinaya, aged about 16 years, said to be in the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent, to cause production of her daughter before this Court and to hand over her custody to the petitioner herein.

(2) Today, the detenue Abinaya has been produced before this Court by the 2nd respondent police. The mother of the detenue/petitioner herein is also present before this Court.

(3) Though the detenue Abinaya went missing for some time and there is a history behind the same, it is now reported that the detenue was secured and given treatment as she had consumed poison. (4) On enquiry, the detenue Abinaya, a minor, has expressed her willingness to go along with her mother who is present before this Court today. The petitioner is also willing to take her daughter

back home.

(5) In the light of the above, recording the statement of the detenue as well as the petitioner herein, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as nothing further remains to be considered in this petition.
