Prayer:Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to mutate the revenue records, grant patta in respect of the land of an extent of 3195 sq.ft. comprised in Survey No.190/2B, Puzhal Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Thiruvallore District to the petitioner through representation dated 3.1.2018. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to mutate the revenue records and grant patta in respect of the land measuring an extent of 3195 sq.ft. comprised in Survey No.190/2B, Puzhal Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Thiruvallore District based on her representation dated 3.1.2018. 3.According to the petitioner, the land acquisition https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

proceedings initiated against the petitioner in the said property has been quashed later by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and therefore, there is no impediment for the respondents to mutate the revenue records and grant patta in favour of the petitioner. Ventilating such grievance, the petitioner made a representation on 03.01.2018. Therefore, it is for the second respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after perusing all the material documents including the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, as claimed by the petitioner. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. It is made clear that this Court is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner. No costs.
