COMMON ORDER (The cases have been heard through video conference) These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to call for the records in C.C.No.21 of 2015 and C.C.No.9403 of 2014, pending on the file of the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and quash the same.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that C.C.No.9043 of 2014, pending on the file of the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai is a private complaint filed by the respondent viz. Jayasutha. C.C.No.21 of 2015 is the final report filed by the respondent police based on the complaint given by Jayasutha. Both the matters arise out of matrimonial dispute between the said Jayasutha and her husband Sivamani, who is A1 in both the cases. He would further submit that subsequently C.C.No.21 of 2015 has been transferred to the file of the learned Additional Mahila Court, Egmore, Chennai and it is re-numbered as C.C.No.93 of 2017.

3.The learned counsel would further submit that the matrimonial dispute between the complainant / defacto complainant viz. Jayasutha and her husband Sivamani has been settled and they have arrived at compromise, based on which, the said matters have been settled and the complainant viz. Jayasutha has withdrawn the complaints and during the National Lok Adalat, vide order dated 08.12.2018, the Trial Court had disposed of the matters. Pursuant to the compromise, the petitioner and the other accused have been acquitted by the Courts below and thereby, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter.

4.Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, these criminal original petitions are closed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
