O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for quashing the F.I.R in Crime No.643 of 2018, pending on the file of the 1st respondent.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the compliant given by the 2nd respondent, the first respondent Police has registered an F.I.R against the petitioners for offence under Sections 7(1)(a) of the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 2005 r/w Section 109, 504 of IPC. He further submits that the first respondent Police will complete the investigation in two months and file final report as such he sought for dismissal of this petition.

3. In view of the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant the prayer sought for by the petitioner. However, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. with the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
