ORDER

This petition is filed seeking for a direction, directing the respondents to register a case based on the complaint dated 28.01.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. It is seen that the complaint dated 28.01.2015 has been sent by post to the Superintendent of Police, Vellore District and the Inspector of Police, Renipet Police Station, Vellore District. Hence, the petitioner is directed to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint to the Inspector of Police, Renipet Police Station, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Vellore District and on receipt of the same, the respondent police shall conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
