This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file final report in FIR.No.911 of 2014.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has preferred a complaint on 21.12.2013 before the 1st respondent as against one Rajendra Babu and Sadhidevi on the allegation of cheating. On receipt of the said complaint, the 1st respondent forwarded the same to the 2nd respondent and a CSR number 263 of 2013 has been assigned by the 2nd respondent. On the basis of the said CSR, FIR No.911 of 2014 has been registered by the 2nd respondent for the alleged offences under Section 420, 506[i] IPC on 18.09.2014. But, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition.

3. Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to investigate the case in FIR No.911 of 2014 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
