RC.No.1019 of 2021 SIVABALAN [ PETITIONER ] Vs C.SELLAMUTHU GOUNDER [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time by two weeks in Crl.MP.NO.13423 of 2021 in Crl.R.C.No.1019 of 2021, order dated 23.12.2021 to comply with the condition of this Hon'ble Court.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.K.SUDHAKAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.M.GURUPRASAD, Advocate on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court in Crl.MP.No.13423 of 2021 in Crl.RC.No.1019 of 2021, dated 23.12.2021 to deposit 50% of the cheque amount i.e. Rs.2,00,000/-. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that since the functioning of the lower courts suspended due to covid-19, the petitioner is not able to comply with the condition. Hence, he prays to extend the time.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that since the petitioner could not able to deposit the amount within the stipulated time, this petition is ordered and the time for depositing Rs.2,00,000/- is extended finally by one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
