ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.28 of 2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Panrutti against the petitioners for the offences under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 506 (i) of IPC.

Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that there was some matrimonial dispute arose between the first petitioner/husband and the second respondent/wife. He further submitted that the petitioners/accused were acquitted in C.C.No.75 of 2016 by the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Panrutti, dated 23.01.2018. Therefore, the relief sought for by the petitioners has now become infructuous.

In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition, hence, the Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
