PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Buildings Lease and Rent Control Act 18 of 1960 as amended by Act 23 of 1973 and Act 1 of 1980, to allow the revision petition and reverse the Judgment and decree made in RCA No.691/2000, dated 30.08.2004 by the learned VIII Small Causes Judge, Chennai and confirming the order of the learned X Small Causes Judge, Chennai, made in R.C.O.P.No.2035 / 1997, dated 18.07.2000. ORDER

None appeared on behalf of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the respondent is present.

2.It is represented by the learned counsel for the first respondent that the possession of the tenanted premises had been handed over to the landlord and therefore nothing survives for further adjudication in the Civil Revision Petition. She also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the first respondent, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
