(CRIME NO.162/2020) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to pass an order relaxing the condition that the petitioner shall stay at Salem and report before the Salem town police station daily at 11.00 a.m. except on the dates when his presence necessary before the Committal court and trial court imposed by this Hon'ble Court in Crl.O.P.No.19004 of 2020 dated 08.12.2020. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.R.GANESH KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner, and of MR.S.KARTHIKEYAN, ADDITIONAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR, on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- (The case has been heard through video conference) This application is filed to relax the condition imposed by this Court against the petitioner directing him to report before the Salem Town Police station every day at 11.00. a.m. except on the dates when his presence necessary before the Committal Court and Trial Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submitted that the petitioner is regularly complying with the conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.19004 of 2020, dated 08.12.2020.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition already imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.19004 of 2020, dated 08.12.2020, is relaxed, however the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on every Monday at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

5. This petition is ordered accordingly.
