Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to modifying the earlier order dated 18.12.2018 in Crl.OP.No.24264 of 2018 by this Hon'ble Court to the extent of releasing the petitioners on own bond.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.P.T.PERUMAL, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. M.MOHAMED RIYAZ, Additional Public Prosecutor, on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:-

This Court while granting bail in Crl.O.P.No.24264 of 2019 dated 18.12.2018, had imposed certain conditions, one of the condition is that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners are journalist and they are coming from other districts engaged in their journalistic work. Hence, the petitioners have come forward with the present petition seeking modification to extend that they may be released on own bond.

3.Considering the same, the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.24264 of 2018 dated 18.12.2018 is modified and the petition is ordered accordingly. The petitioners shall execute their own bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- each.
