This petition has been filed seeking condonation of delay of 2359 days in filing the petition to restore the writ petition, which was dismissed for default on 25.06.2018.

2. Heard Mr.K.S.Ilangovan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Tamilvanan, learned Additional Government Pleader (P) appearing for respondents.
3. In the considered view of this Court, the extraordinary delay in filing this restoration petition has not been properly explained in the affidavit filed in support of the petition except throwing blame on the counsel, who appeared for the petitioner. That apart, it was brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents that award has already been passed on 15.11.2002 and the property has vested with the Government.
