2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that in the light of the judgement passed by this Court in the case of K.Marappan Vs. The Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Namakkal and Another reported in 2006 (4) CTC 689, these writ petitions are not maintainable before this Court and therefore, the same are liable to be dismissed.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, this Court is inclined to dismiss these writ petitions. Accordingly, these writ petitions are dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach the Authorities concerned and work out their remedy under Section 152 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
