ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents herein to consider to participate the certificate verification between 07.01.2026 to 10.01.2026 of the Petitioner in the Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB), Notification No.10/ MRB / 2023, conducting the postings of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife / Village Health Nurse and to kindly consider the petitioner's service during the COVID -19 Period.
2. By the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner participated in the selection to the post of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife / Village Health Nurse and the petitioner is entitled to acquire higher marks, on __________Page 2 of 5
the ground, she entered service during Covid-19 protocol however, without considering the same, the name of the petitioner has been not included in the certification verification process hence, this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to allow the petitioner to participate in the certificate verification in future date, if any.
4. Per contra, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that already the entire process is over on 10.01.2026 itself and prayer sought for by the petitioner to allow her to participate in the certificate verification between 07.01.2026 to 10.01.2026 is not permissible, since the certificate verification procedure is already over on 10.01.2026. He would further submit that if at all the petitioner have any grievance for nonselection, the petitioner has to challenge the selection process in the manner known to law. Hence, he prayed for dismissal of the writ petition.
5. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the selection process in the manner known to law. No costs.
