S.Saravanan .. Defendants Prayer:- Civil Suit has been filed under Order IV Rule 1 of Original Side Rules, High Court, Madras, read with Order VII Rule 1 of Code of Civil Procedure, prays for a judgment and decree in favour of the plaintiff : 1/4

a) directing the defendants to pay a sum of Rs.13,57,00,000/- (Rupees Thirteen Crores and Fifty Seven Lakhs only) together with interest at 18% per annum on Rs.9,10,00,000/- from the date of plaint till date of realisation in full, b) Costs of the suit.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 10.04.2024, this Court directed the plaintiff and the defendants to file Proof Affidavits for all the witnesses on or before 26.04.2024.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it serden that the plaintiff has not filed the Proof affidavit. Therefore, this Civil Suit is 2/4

dismissed for default. Consequently, connected applications are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
