ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- (The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.12.2021 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 448, 294(b), 323, 324, 307 of IPC and altered into Section 302 IPC, in Crime No.535 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 14.12.2021, when the defacto complainant and his friends were staying in a room at Perambakkam, the petitioners along with other accused entered into the room of the defacto complainant, abused and assaulted them with wooden log due to some employment dispute during which, one Abdul Hasin sustained severe injuries and subsequently, died in the hospital on 15.12.2021. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are no way connected with the alleged offence and they have been falsely implicated in this case and that the petitioners have been suffering incarceration for more than 35 days from 19.12.2021. Hence, he would pray for grant of bail to the petitioners.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would raise strong objection stating that due to dispute in respect of supplying man power to nearby Districts, the occurrence had happened and due to the attack made by the petitioners and others, 4 persons sustained grievous injuries and one person died.

5.On seeing the gravity of offence and the involvement of the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
