This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Vridhachalam, Cuddalore District to conclude the trial in C.C.No.87 of 2018 within a stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a Transport Corporation Employee and while he is discharging his duties as technician some of the rival union persons lodged false complaint, as if the petitioner has received amount from such persons by giving assurance that the petitioner is going to arrange for their appointment and in this connection the second respondent lodged a complaint against the first respondent police as if the petitioner promised to get job, but failed to do so. He further submitted that based on the complaint given by the second respondent a case in Cr.No.301 of 2011 for the alleged offence under Section 420 I.P.C. and the same is taken on file in C.C.No.87 of 2018 and now it is pending trial and since the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

trial is without progress for the past three years and till date no witnesses have been examined. He further submitted that the issue has also been resolved.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the there are only nine witnesses in the case and all the witnesses can be examined without delay. He further submitted that the trial will be completed within a period of three months .

4. In view of the same, the the Trial Court is directed to complete the trial in C.C.No.87 of 2018, within a period of three months from the date of normal functioning of the Court and the petitioner shall co-operate with the trial and cross examine the witnesses without further delay.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
