by the 2nd respondent dated 09.08.2021 with respect to the property at No.16/2, Nannian Street, Edapalayam, Chennai 600 003, measuring about 433 sq.ft., and 1050 sq.ft., of built-up area having CMC No.05/059/02558/000 and 05/059/02568/000 and quash the same and direct the 2nd respondent to conduct an enquiry in case of Water and Sewerage charges.

2. When this matter was taken up for hearing, both the learned counsel would submit that after filing of these petitions, the respondentDepartment had reduced the water and sewerage charges of the petitioners and the same was paid by the petitioners. Hence,they would 2/4

submit that the prayer in these writ petitions have become infructuous.

3. Recording the above submissions, these writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No cost. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
