This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Madukkarai, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.279 of 2020 and complete the same within a stipulated time.

2. Heard Mr.M.Damodarakrishnan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Madukkarai, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.279 of 2020 and complete the same, within a period of eight (8) months. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
