ORDER

(DELIVERED BY DR. S.VIMALA, J.) The present habeas corpus petition has been preferred by the brother of the detenue, Indhumathi, seeking production of the detenue before this Court and to set her at liberty.

2. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that due to marital discord, the detenue had filed HMOP No.342/2018 before the Family Court and that the detenue had been in the custody of the husband under compelling circumstances and somehow or other she was able to get out of the custody of the husband and the detenue is present before the Court. The detenue, Indhumathi, is present before the Court.

3. In the above circumstances, the detenue being present before the Court, her presence is recorded and she being a major, she is set at liberty. Accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
