ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1-A) of the TN Prohibition Act and Sections 5,6,13 of TN Rectified Spirit Rules 2000, in Crime No.291 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. Totally there are 5 accused in this case and the petitioner is A3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons were in possession of 525 liters of spirit. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is no way connected with the alleged offence. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has 5 previous cases to his credit. He would further submit that the anticipatory bail application with regard to A2 in this case was dismissed. Hence he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submissions made by the learned additional public prosecutor, that the petitioner has 5 previous cases to his credit, this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
