Prayer: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India seeking direction to the learned Subordinate Court, Tiruchengode, Namakkal District to expedite the trial in I.A.No.2 of 2024 in O.S.No.30 of 2021 on its file, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

This civil revision petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Trial Court to expedite the disposal of I.A.No.2 of 2024 in O.S.No.30 of 2021.

2. The first respondent herein/plaintiff filed the above said suit for partition and other reliefs. Pending suit, the petitioner herein/ first defendant filed I.A.No.2 of 2024 seeking rejection of plaint. Though the said application has been filed as early as on 14.10.2024, enquiry in the said petition is not yet over. Hence, the petitioner has come before this court.

3. A perusal of the petition and order in I.A.No.2 of 2024 filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that the contesting first respondent/plaintiff filed her counter as early as on 10.06.2025 and thereafter, the said application has been simply adjourned for enquiry, without any further progress.

4. Taking into consideration that the pleadings of the parties were already completed as early as in June 2025 and there is no substantial progress thereafter, this court is inclined to direct the trial court to dispose of the I.A.No.2 of 2024 in O.S.No.30 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
