This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, challenging in action on the part of the respondents in not disbursing of his representation to release the medical expenses incurred by the petitioner and with a further prayer to dispose of his representation in this regard.
2. The petitioner would state that she was appointed as BT Assistant in the Government Aided Immaculate Girls Higher Secondary School, Tirupattur Taluk, Vellore District on 24.02.1988, rendered 34 years of Service and superannuated from service on 31.10.1999. She has been drawing pension through the Sub- Treasurer Office, Thirupattur, Vellore District Vide PPO No.C15602/EDA and also paying Subscription to the Tamil Nadu Health Fund Scheme.

The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that she was admitted on 16.09.2016 in the Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, Karnataka due to post Menopausal Bleeding with hypertension and diabetes and after the treatment, she got discharged on 19.09.2016 and incurred Rs.2,00,000/- as Medical expenses. In this regard, she has submitted representation to the respondents dated 02.04.2018 towards the claim of medical Reimbursement from the Tamil Nadu Health Scheme and since no response is forthcoming, she came forward to file this writ petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents have no objection to consider the representation of the petitioner within the specified period, in accordance with law.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances, especially the submissions and taking into consideration of the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation dated 02.04.2018 submitted by the petitioner, regarding release of the expenses incurred by him towards the treatment after taking note of the rules/ executive instructions of the Government / 1st respondent with regard to medical reimbursement, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and also communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
