ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 31.05.2011 made by the petitioner. 2.The petitioner who was working as Deputy Manager (Collection), Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation, Chennai, given a representation to the first respondent on 31.05.2011 against the Additional General Manager (Business) and Additional General Manager (Administration) for taking some disciplinary action https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with regard to a fire accident occurred in the office premises where some loss also taken place.

3.However, when the case is taken up for hearing today, Mr.V.Suthakar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that, both the petitioner as well as the persons against whom such action was sought to be made by way of disciplinary proceedings since have retired from service, virtually nothing survives in this writ petition to pursue further.

4.Considering the said submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and by recording the same, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders.

That the prayer sought for in this writ petition since has become virtually infructuous, this Writ Petition is dismissed accordingly. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
