ORDER

This criminal revision has been filed praying to set aside the order passed in M.C.No.84 of 2018 dated 28.09.2021 on the file of the learned Family Court, Cuddalore.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the marriage between the petitioner and the first respondent was solemnized on 09.12.2010 and due to their wedlock, the second respondent was born. While being so, the first respondent, being the wife of the petitioner, filed M.C.No.84 of 2018 on the file of the learned Family Court, Cuddalore claiming maintenance of Rs.10,000/- per month, educational expenses of Rs.5,000/- per month, medical and essential expenses of Rs.5,000/- per month and yearly maintenance of Rs.2,00,000/- per year. Thereafter, the petitioner filed HMOP.No.198 of 2019 before the same court for divorce, which was allowed on 28.09.2021. However, the learned Family Court ordered maintenance of Rs.10,000/- per month to the second respondent and educational expenses of Rs.25,000/- per year in M.C.No.84 of 2018. Aggrieved over the said order dated 28.09.2021, the present revision has been filed by the petitioner.

While at the time the criminal revision is kept pending for enquiry, on 16.03.2022, the learned counsel appearing on either side appeared before this Court and filed a joint memo of compromise dated 02.03.2022 stating that the dispute having by them was settled out of Court and therefore the matter was adjourned today for appearance of the parties before this Court.

4. Today when the revision petition is came up for hearing, both the petitioner and the first respondent are appeared before this Court. In order to show the identity, the petitioner filed copy of the voter ID and on the other hand, the first respondent Thilagavathi filed her aadhar card. The contentions of the joint compromise memo have been read over to both the parties and after understanding it, the same has been admitted by them.

5. Hence in view of the same, by recording the joint compromise memo, the present criminal revision case is closed. The copy of the joint compromise memo dated 02.03.2022 shall form part and parcel of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
