ORDER
On 21.03.2023 it was submitted by the learned counsel on record for the petitioner that they have given change of vakalat in the year 2016 and that they are no more appearing in this case and hence Registry was directed to delete the name of the learned counsel from the cause list and to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list. On 28.03.2023, this Court ordered notice to the petitioner through Court returnable by 10.04.2023. As per order of this Court dated 28.03.2023 notice was sent to the petitioner and service was awaited, then the case was adjourned to 19.04.2023 under the caption "for orders". Again on 19.04.2023 service was awaited and adjourned to 24.04.2023 under the caption "for orders".
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today i.e., 24.04.2023 it 2/14
was brought to the notice of this Court that the notice sent through Court was returned with an endorsement "door locked" and there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, hence it is clear and evident that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case.
3. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. 24.04.2023 dpq Index :
