This writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus directing the respondents to survey the land and fix the boundaries comprised in S.No.543/2 to the extent of 0.30.96 Hectare situated at Karadihalli village, Krishnagiri Taluk & District.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that originally the petitioner's father had purchased the said land in survey No.543 to the extent of 1.53 acres from one Venkatesan through a registered sale deed dated 10.07.2008 vide document No.1153/2008. Subsequently, the petitioner's father died on 24.12.2002 and the legal heirs have partitioned the said property by way of a partition deed dated 22.09.2022 vide document No.2526 of 2022 and thereby, the petitioner become the absolute property owner of the land in S.No.543/2 to an extent of 0.30.96 hectares situated at Karadihalli village, Krishnagiri Tal;uk & District.

It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has filed an application on 15.05.2023 before the respondents to measure his land and fix the boundaries so that he could develop the property. The petitioner had paid a sum of Rs.800/- to 2/4
survey his land and the same was acknowledged by the respondents. However, the respondents did not survey the said land. Further, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 04.11.2023 to the revenue officials along with the challan but no action was taken and hence, the petition sought for a suitable direction.

The learned Additional Government Pleader has taken notice for all the respondents and submitted that if certain time frame is granted by this Court, the representation of the petitioner would be considered. 5.
Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner and also on considering the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to complete the survey of the land in Dr.D.NAGARJUN.J, vca S.No.543/2 to the extent of 0.30.96 hectare situated at Karadihalli village, 3/4
Krishnagiri Taluk & District by following the due process including sending notices to the neighbouring land owners and fix the boundaries, if the facts mentioned in the affidavit are correct and dispose of the same in the manner know to law as quickly as possible at any rate not later than eight weeks. No costs.
