O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to quash the criminal proceedings in P.R.C.No.15 of 2016 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Avinashi.

2. Heard Mr.A.Rajaram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Govindarajan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. Though several grounds have been raised by the petitioner in the petition to quash the proceedings in P.R.C.No.15 of 2016 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Avinashi, taking into consideration of the fact that since this is a case of committal proceedings and the grounds raised by the petitioner needs to be proved after due trial, this Court is of the view that the ends of justice would be made, if the Trial Court is directed to expedite the proceedings and come to a logical conclusion.

4. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Avinashi, to complete

the committal proceedings in P.R.C.No.15 of 2016, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
