2. Today, when the matters are taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have been appointed as Post Graduate Assistants (Economics).

3. In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, nothing survives for further consideration in the present writ petitions in regard to the prayer as sought. Therefore, these writ petitions stand dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
