Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents particularly the 3rd respondent to survey and demarcate the boundaries and to issue separate patta by sub dividing the original survey No.121 / 1 B to an extent of 0.85 cents and 121 / 2B to an extent 0.55 cents 1 /3rd share in favour of the petitioner for the property which is situated at Alampoondi Village, Gingee Taluk, Villuppuram District, by considering the petitioner's application dated 27/11/2025, vide Ref No.2025 /0123 /07/011299 and representation dated 29/11/2025.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on his application dated 27.11.2025 and also to issue a separate patta in favour of the petitioner, based on his representation dated 29.11.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Since the aforesaid application and the representation have not been considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's application seeking for survey and demarcation and his representation seeking for issuance of a separate patta for the property more fully decribed in the prayer to this writ petition is directed to be considered on merits and in
accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any third party as they deem fit.

Accordingly, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to complete the survey and demarcation of boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's application, dated 27.11.2025, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom they deem fit to enquire. Thereafter, if the petitioner is found to be eligible, the 3rd respondent shall issue a separate patta for the sub-divided property in favour of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2025. The 3rd respondent is directed to complete the aforesaid exercise, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
