The petitioner retired from service 31.07.2016. However, in the Pension Payment Order dated 02.01.2018, though the date of retirement was mentioned as 31.07.2016, the calculation of arrears of pension was calculated, as effective from 10.08.2017. Pointing out that the same is erroneous, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents in this regard on 10.11.2018 to correct the same. As the said representation was not considered, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking appropriate relief.
