Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the second respondent to alter the offence under Sections 294(b) and 324 IPC and to include the offence under Section 307 of IPC in Crime No.66 of 2020 pending on the file of the second respondent police and file the final report within a stipulated period of time. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police to alter the FIR in Crime No.66 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent police. 2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the FIR was registered only on 15.02.2020 for an offence under Sections 294(b) and 323 of IPC. The investigation is in progress. If in the course of investigation, the respondent police collect sufficient materials, the offences will be altered accordingly.

3. In view of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the second respondent police to continue with the investigation effectively and based based on the materials https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

collected during the course of investigation, either alter the FIR or file the final report by adding the necessary offences made out.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
