Prayer:Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the application dated 18.02.2013 which was assigned File No.Na.Ka.1658/2013/A2 of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. Ms.S.Ramya Revathy, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. Since this writ petition is being disposed of, without affecting the interest of the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with. 2.The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to consider his application dated 18.02.2013, wherein and whereby he sought for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the fourth respondent and consequently to grant the same in favour of the petitioner, in respect of the subject matter property. though the said representation was made as early as on 18.02.2013 and several enquiries were conducted by the second respondent, he has not passed the final order so far. 3.This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner dated 18.02.2013 on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and the fourth respondent and other interested parties if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
