The applicant states that the infringing product was sold in Chennai. In support thereof, the applicant relies upon invoices in relation to the sale of the infringing products.

2. Therefore, it appears that part of the cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this Court. Accordingly, A.No.554 of 2022 is allowed by granting leave to the applicant / plaintiff to institute the suit before this Court. Consequently, the Registry is directed to number the suit, if it is otherwise in order.
