ORDER
The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to issue the death certificate of her husband mentioning the name as Selvaraj Sekar David instead of Selvaraj, based on the representation given by her dated 06.05.2016.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in the Death Certificate issued, the name of the petitioner's husband has been wrongly mentioned as Selvaraj instead of Selvaraj Sekar David. For changing the name in the Death Certificate, the petitioner gave a representation dated 06.05.2016, however, the same has not yet been considered by the respondent.
3. Mr. A.N.Thambidurai learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation, within a time frame, in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the petitioner to produce all the necessary documents in support of his contention before the respondent and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.05.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
