Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned notice dated 11.01.2020 on the file of the Third Respondent postponing election sine-die to the post of Chairman and ViceChairman of Thandarampattu Panchayat Union in Tiruvannamalai District and quash the same, consequentially direct the First and Second Respondents to conduct the said election, by appointing another Returning Officer in the place of the Fifth Respondent along with an observer to be appointed by the First Respondent with adequate police protection and video coverage throughout the entire process till the declaration of result. Learned Counsel for both sides submit that re-election has been notified on 30.01.2019 and that the same would be videographed with police protection. Learned Counsel for the Petitioners has also made an endorsement to that effect. Nothing remains for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. 2.

Recording the aforesaid subsequent events, the Writ Petition is disposed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
