ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 07.08.2021 made by the petitioner and direct the fourth respondent herein to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the land situated in survey No.172/2A, 4th Ward, Karuppur Post, Omalur Taluk, Salem District after obtaining the revised guideline amount of Rs.6,14,437.50/- from the petitioner.

2. Heard, Mr.Naveen Kumar Murthi, the learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.P.Baladhandayutham, Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner dated 07.08.2021 for issuance of patta for the land comprised in survey No.172/2A, 4th Ward, Karuppur Post, Omalur Taluk, Salem District in the light of the recommendation made by the Revenue Divisional Officer i.e. the third respondents herein dated 28.06.2017 and conduct enquiry after issuing notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any, and giving them opportunity of hearing, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No order as to costs.
