Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the representation dated 28.09.2019 and further direct the third respondent to frame the prescribed rules under provision of the law and follow the same principle for the Organisers without showing any partiality among Organisers.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the representation dated 28.09.2019 and further direct the third respondent to frame the prescribed rules under provision of the law and follow the same principle for the Organisers without showing any partiality among Organisers.

2.The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are the President and Vice President of Exhibitions Organisers Associations of South India and they made representation to the respondents seeking to take immediate steps for framing and regulating the prescribed rules while renting out the space for exhibitions at Chennai Trade Center and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that this Court may issue direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 28.09.2019 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame. 3/6

4.The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed, within the time fixed by this Court. 5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 28.09.2019, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
