ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to modify the conditions imposed by this Court in Paragraph No.7 of the order in Crl.OP.No.35215 of 2025 dated 02.01.2026.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for the purpose of executing a bond for Rs.20,000/-, the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Vellore demanding sureties who is having, patta or land documents and also demanding solvency certificate. He further submitted that the petitioner has no solvency certificates or property documents, and therefore, prayed to reduce the sum of Rs.20,000/- to Rs.10,000/-. He submitted that the petitioner can produce the sureties with normal conditions and he is in prison from 14.10.2025, despite the bail granted to the petitioner on 02.01.2026 itself. Hence, prays to allow this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner has not complied the conditions as imposed by this court. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on records.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by both counsel, I am of the view that demanding of solvency certificate, patta or property document are not necessary for executing a bond for Rs.20,000/-. Hence, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vellore is directed to accept the sureties on the basis of identification of documents including Aadhar card etc. The other conditions shall remain intact.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
