This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the 1st respondent to take appropriate steps as per representation dated 19.08.2013 in the light of circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 in C.No.52338/C1/2011, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has advanced his arguments on the basis of the averments made in the petition.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted a copy of Circular dated 20.10.2017, wherein, it is clearly stated that the Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 has already been withdrawn by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
4. Therefore, necessary direction cannot be given to take appropriate steps on the basis of Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011. However, it is made clear that on 19.08.2013, the petitioner has given a representation to the 1st respondent, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this court is inclined to pass the following order:- In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs.
