Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to approve forthwith the appointment of petitioner as Waterman in the 5th respondent school namely Fatima Girl's Higher Secondary School, Omalur w.e.f., 01.12.2009, with all attendant benefits including the arrears of salary and allowance, and pass such further or other suitable order.

O R D E R

The grievances of the writ petitioner is that the proposal submitted to the District Educational Officer for the grant of approval of appointment to non-teaching staff is yet to be considered.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the writ petitioner is eligible for approval as per the norms and the conditions. The proposal submitted in this regard on 20.06.2016 is kept pending and therefore the writ petitioner is construed to move the present Writ Petition.

3. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the proposals submitted by the writ petitioner on 20.06.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copy of the proposal and relevant judgments already passed in the subject along with the order passed in the present Writ Petition.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
