Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records pertaining to the order of detention passed in B3/D.O.No.115/2020 dated 13.11.2020 passed by the second respondent and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's son viz., Manikandan @ Harish, son of Boopathi, aged about 21 years before this Hon'ble Court, now confined in the Central Prison, Vellore and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in B3/D.O.No.115/2020 dated 13.11.2020, detaining her son as "Goonda" under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.249, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 11.01.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the said Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
