Respondents Prayer:Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to pass orders on the proposal sent by the second respondent herein in his proceeding Na.Ka.No.4056/E3/2010 dated 16.12.2014 and the third respondent herein in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.282-A2/2013 dated 28.07.2014 regarding settlement of the period of out of employment of the petitioner from 1.5.2003 to 22.8.2004, within a time frame. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to the first respondent herein to pass orders on the proposal sent by the second respondent herein in his proceeding Na.Ka.No.4056/E3/2010 dated 16.12.2014 and the third respondent herein in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.282-A2/2013 dated 28.07.2014 regarding regularising the period from 1.5.2003 to 22.8.2004, within a time frame.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was imposed with the punishment of compulsory https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

retirement from service on 10.7.2014. But the period from 1.5.2003 to 22.8.2004 has not been till date regularised, although proposals have been sent by the second and third respondents. Therefore, the proposal sent by the second respondent dated 16.12.2014 needs to be considered by the first respondent by passing a speaking order.

3. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents sought for sufficient time to pass final orders.

4. This Court, considering the factor that the petitioner was already imposed with the punishment of compulsory retirement way back on 10.7.2014, directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the pending proposal within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
