O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to transfer the entire investigation pertaining to Crime No.34 of 2013 dated 29.10.2013 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police to the Inspector, CBCID/Crime Investigation Department, Tirupur Division, Tirupur or District Crime Branch, Tirupur or any other independent agency.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Cr.No.34 of 2013 has been registered and investigation is being conducted by the Land Grabbing Cell. In Crl.O.P.No.1532 of 2014, this Court has passed an order on 03.06.2014 directing the respondent police to complete the investigation within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order therein. In the meantime, a Division Bench of this Court had quashed the Government Order constituting Land Grabbing Cell and Land Grabbing Court, aggrieved by which the State has approached https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the Hon'ble Supreme Court has given a direction that the investigation by the Land Grabbing Cell shall proceed.

4. In view of the order of the Hon'ble Apex Court, this Court directs the respondent police to proceed with the investigation expeditiously and file Final Report in accordance with law.
