ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent Assistant Settlement Officer to dispose of petition dated 27.10.2018 filed by the petitioner.

2. On instructions from the second respondent, the learned Government Advocate submitted that on receipt of the application from the petitioner, the second respondent issued notice to the petitioner and counter parties. During the enquiry, the representative of the Assistant Commissioner/Executive Officer, Arulmigu Thiyagarajaswamy Temple, Thiruvottiyur submitted that the property comprised in S.Nos.269/B1, 269/B2 and 270 (Town Survey Ward H, Block 15), totally 4.78 acres of land is in the name of Arulmigu Thiyagarajaswamy Temple, Thiruvottiyur in Patta No.25. Therefore, the request of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 13.03.2020 in proceedings No.Rc.10/2018/SI. Hence, this Writ Petition is devoid of merits and it is liable to be dismissed.
