This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.228 of 2025 before the jurisdictional Court. __________Page 1 of 3

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed and the final report has not yet been filed.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court directs the first respondent Police to file the final report in Crime No.228 of 2025 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report in accordance with law, if so advised. 4.
