ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 09.03.2015 and 08.03.2016 to issue patta in respect of property situated at Thiruveethiamman Koil Street, Koluthuvancherry, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, comprised in Old Survey No.21/6, New Survey No.175/10, measuring to an extent of 1210 Sq.Ft. vacant land North side, Sub-Registration office at Saidapet, bearing Document No.1716/15, dated 13.02.2015 in favour of the petitioner.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that she has purchased the above said property from one Mr.Idimannan and she is the absolute owner of the same. She gave a representation, dated 09.03.2015 in person to the respondent for issuance of patta in respect of the above said property and also sent another representation, dated 08.03.2016 by post, to the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Though the respondent has received the representations, no action is taken. Hence, she has filed this Writ Petition for the above relief.
3. Heard both sides.
4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer made in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the said representations, dated 09.03.2015 and 08.03.2016 of the petitioner and after conducting enquiry and giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and necessary parties, pass appropriate orders and dispose of the said representations, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner and it is for the respondent to decide the same.
5. With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
