O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2024 and consequently, direct the second respondent police to give police protection from the threat of the respondents 3 to 5 and their henchmen and prevent them from interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner's landed property in Survey Nos.33/1, 33/2, 34/1, 24/1, 24/2 situated at K.Aatur Village, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District.

2. Heard Mr.E.Kannadasan, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on 2/4

behalf of respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.P.Venkatraman, learned counsel appearing for respondents 3 & 4.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 & 2 submitted that a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2024 at the earliest.

4. In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2024 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
