Crl.O.P.No.30312 of 2013 Crl.O.P.No.30312 of 2013 A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA , J., When the matter is taken up today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that Crl.O.P.No.30312 of 2013 was filed, seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner viz., S.Karthikaiselvan, dated 05.08.2013 and to hold an enquiry under Section 151 and 152 of the Police Standing Orders relating to the conduct of the Deputy Superintendent of Police viz., K.S.Ravichandran and his subordinates in respect of the torture and illegal detention and registration of false FIR's against the petitioner. This Court, while disposing the petition on 27.11.2019, had directed the respondent to conduct an enquiry under Section 151 of the Police Standing Orders against K.S.

Ravichandran, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Madurai and his subordinates. This Court had also directed to initiate action against him and to file the action taken report before this Court on or before 16.12.2019. He would submit that pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the Sub Divisional Magistrate and Revenue Divisional Officer, Thirumangalam was appointed to conduct an enquiry with regard to the allegations against Mr.K.S.Ravichandran, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Madurai. While, the enquiry was going on, the petitioner / S.Karthikaiselvan had died on 09.01.2017 and his wife Indirani had 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.

Crl.O.P.No.30312 of 2013 A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA , J., ssi appeared for enquiry and apart from her, 6 other persons were also enquired by the Enquiry Officer. The enquiry had been concluded and the report has been given on 24.03.2021. He would further submit that the report of the enquiry has also been sent to the Collector, Madurai, vide ROC No.A2/2744/219, dated 24.03.2020 and thereby, the order of this Court has been duly complied with. 2.Mr.S.Gopalsamy, Section Officer, Public Department (Law and Order), Secretariat (Cell No: 7904852023; Phone No: 25665053) is present before this Court.

3.Mr.S.Gopalasamy, Section Officer would confirm that the order of this Court, dated 27.11.2019 has been duly complied with and the report of the enquiry had been sent to the Collector, Madurai Vide ROC No.A2/2744/219, dated 24.03.2020.

4.The above submission that the order has been complied with is recorded. No further orders required in this matter.
